The triple room with a private bathroom offered decent space for a couple, allowing for some comfortable downtime after a long day out. The access to the kitchen was a great perk, making it easy to whip up a snack or enjoy a cup of tea during the quieter moments.
Distance from the nearest stations meant a somewhat lengthy 15-20 minute trek to Ogura and JR-Ogura, which could be a hassle after a long day of exploring. The garden, while visually appealing, is off-limits. You can only catch glimpses through the window, which can feel limiting. While the inn offers a peaceful atmosphere, it’s located a good bit away from most of Kyoto's action, leading to quieter nights but also requiring daily train rides to get to the main attractions.

I loved the spacious common area with a full kitchen, perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea after a day of sightseeing.
The bathroom in our Quadruple Room was quite small, making it a bit uncomfortable for our family of four.

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement
The quadruple room was spacious, yet the futon left much to be desired for comfort. Enjoyed a lovely kitchen space for preparing tea. Be ready for a long walk to the station after dark, but it's worth it for the peaceful atmosphere. Bring your own comfortable bedding!

Can recommend for a flying visit
Cozy inn, welcoming staff, where I felt very at home due to the friendly assistance and great proximity to delicious matcha shops and the Nintendo Museum, just an 8-10 minute walk away.
Nothing to complain about.

The spacious common area with a full kitchen was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, and the complimentary green tea and coffee were delightful touches. Staying in a traditional Japanese house added a unique charm, especially with the soft futon, although a bit of Japanese language familiarity could enhance communication. The proximity to a variety of restaurants ensured diverse dining options, but the somewhat limited accessibility to key attractions may require planning ahead to enjoy the area fully.
